My ds (6yrs in april) is deathly pale, always has been a very light skinned child but omg i swear he's looking like a ghost now. i thought as he got older it would not be as extreme....his whole body is whiter then simon cowells teeth!
he has blonde hair, blue eyes so naturally fairer skin....he's very toned and slim.
he take vitamins daily, he doesnt eat alot oof meat, if i cant disguise it or shape it linto something 'more interesting' then its a no-go.
is this extreme paleness something that can be helped (without the aid of tango sprays and maybelline foundation obviously)
or something they grow out of when they hit their teens and discover mc donalds is open at breakfast?
or is he a pale and interesting movie-vamp in the making?

Have you had him tested for anaemia? If not, tell your GP your concerns and ask for a blood test.

DD1 is 6 and she is the same. Not anemic, but borderline low iron count, due to poor appetite.

I find she gets a bit of colour in her cheeks if she spends a lot of time outdoors. Otherwise she is completely white.

Dd1 is the same, i took her to the GP last month and he has thinks she's low in iron and calcium. She also doesn't eat much meat (unless in the form of a sausage).
