Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My dd2 lost her first tooth when she was 4, I was quite shocked but it was a perfectly healthy tooth when I checked it so it must have just been time, she has several more Wobblies now

RatherBeOnThePiste · 26/02/2010 19:11

[DD was v v v v

Here (and I mean our house!) its £1 for first and 50p after. Mean old Scots!

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 26/02/2010 19:19

DS2 is 5 and has already lost 2 teeth with another one wobbly.

Tooth fairy brings £1 in this house, in my day it was about 10p!

Portofino · 26/02/2010 19:22

Dd's first wobbly tooth was one month after her 5th birthday. The going rate depends on what change we have at the time. I think she got 5 euros for the first one.

NoahAndTheWhale · 26/02/2010 19:25

DS lost his first tooth a couple of months before he was 6. Has now lost 4 and looks nice and gappy .

A fair few children in DD's class lost teeth in reception (aged 4-5 years). DD was upset as she was the only one, by end of Y1, not to have lost a tooth. She didnt til she wa s7y and had finished Y2.

I work in a y1 class and many of the children have lost at leats one tooth.

very normal, mine lost 2 at 4 years old, 2 at just 5 and expecting the next 4 to drop out any time soon, she's 6 in June...

Hulababy · 26/02/2010 22:27

Going rate is £1 here, although first one was when holidaying in Florida and the tooth fairy only had $5 as smallest denomination.
