11-year-old has just started secondary school and one term in we have discovered that the boy who doesn't feel hungry when he leaves the house buys a Galaxy bar on the way up the high street every day.
Obviously this is not a good option. The school does provide breakfast but he doesn't want to go to that, for reasons which are not entirely clear but may involve less time to hang out with his friends.
We've suggested a packed breakfast but haven't been able to come up with a compelling enough menu yet.
Bizarrely, he has said that he would cook himself an omelette every morning, but I can't work out how many eggs is a healthy number for a child. Any ideas? And any ideas about what foods might be healthy enough and special enough to entice him to eat?
