She was extremely nice about it and ds says he can hear much better now! He had a collection of 4 different things in his ears. Anyone want to have a guess at what they were?

merrycompo · 21/12/2009 18:24

Or do you commit the cardinal sin of cleaning his ears with cotton buds and he has four broken buds down his lughole?!

TulipsAndTinsel · 21/12/2009 18:24

wheen of a dinky car
tiny pebble
piece of breakfast cereal
and in the spirit of the season, some tinsel

bibbitybobbitysantahat · 21/12/2009 18:25

He could have chosen a more convenient time of year to experiment with his aural capacity, mind. One GP visit and two hospital appointments later. I was out from 9.30am to 3.00pm today just getting this sorted [grumpy emoticon].

bibbitybobbitysantahat · 21/12/2009 18:38

Sorry sorry, had a phone call.

So

first out was a pumpkin seed.

behind that was a small yellow bead (larger than hama).

in the other ear we had a small ball of blu-tac

and some cotton wool (which he says accidentally got in there when he was making his cotton wool snowman at school last week ).

My boy!

Hassled · 21/12/2009 18:46

That is one impressive aural capacity - the boy will go far.
