Best thing for stuffy noses?

My DD is 9 months and is full of a cold. Her nose is constantly running and seems blocked. She seems ok in herself but is getting worked up when feeding because she has to stop every few seconds to take a breath. She is also waking several times in the night.

What's the best thing to use to help clear it a bit?

I saw childrens saline nasal spray in tesco today which is supposed to help with blocked noses. Olbas oil on a hanky and/or a vaporiser in the bedroom may help too.

I boil water and drops of olbas oil repeat as needed to create steam

elevate mattress as child not lying too flat
(not pillow for babies just mattress)

Thanks for your replies

I have told DH to get some saline spray and snufflebabe to see if that helps and I will look at that vaporiser too. I can't even walk up to the chemist myself because I can get my double pram in the shop.

I have elevated her mattress with some blankets but she is in a pop up travel cot so I can't elevate the legs with books or anything. The feeding thing is the worst thing because she is getting really frustrated with it.

Plus she is teething too so a rather unhappy baby at the minute.

put saline nasal drops up her nose and then buy a snot extrator....it is a little sucker thing that you stick up their nose and it drags all the snotty stuff out,so they can feed better.
