Do you need to rince off babies after using bubble bath type products?

Bit of a petty question, but do you need to rince off a baby (mine is 11 weeks) with clear water after putting something like J&J Bedtime Bath in the bath water?

Bathtine is still a bit of a struggle as it is and my instinct is to rince but no easy way to do it with a wriggling baby so I've not been - should I be though? And if so, any tips on how?

Had been trusting that J&J made for babies so must be fine but just been told baby oil is actually drying as it doesn't let the skin breathe so wondering if the bath products are just marketing hype too?

I personally would not use J&J at all as it has too many chemicals in for my liking, i feel it strips them of natural oils unecessarily. So, on that theory, then yes, if i did use it, i would rinse it off.

(With DD i used nothing but water for the first 6 months, then only used a little natural stuff to clean her when she made a mess weaning)

Babies of this age don't need any bath products, from what I know. I would use plain water at this age.
