Small lick of shaving gel?

Was shaving my legs in the bath and Ds 14 months was pottering round beside the bath playing with a duck.
He swiped his hand down my leg with foam on it and licked it.

Can says seek medical advice if swallowed. Does a lick count as swallowed?
He seems fine, dont think I need to do anything or make a fuss, just double checking really....

There's minimal amounts of anything in shaving gel. Do call NHS direct if you are concerned though, they have access to toxbase, which is a drug/chemical database. Shaving gel is mainly soap IIRC, it would be the same as him licking a bar of soap (yuk)

I don't think a small lick will do him any harm, so just keep an eye on him. I'd guess it's like liquid soap or shampoo - you'd be ill if you drank it, but if a drop gets in your mouth by accident it's not going to do any harm.

well he's been crying loads and arching his back, so think he's got belly ache!
Not sure if its coincidence or the shaving foam, so made GP appt for this afternoon just in case! Hope they dont laugh at me!!

Know it's obvious but don't forget to take the packaging with you to the doc

Better safe than sorry if he's now got a tummy-ache. I'm sure they won't laugh.
