probably can't be answered but worth a try..jerky movements all of a sudden tonight

hunbby unusually (never comments on such matters to me!) said little one of 21 months was having jerky movements tongiht

he had eaten loads...then had a few biscuits,,,then was a bit naughty so put him upstairs for a minute screaming

he had calmed down by time took him down after his 30sec little discipline...but then i was away few minutes later and hubby said his movements very unlike him

could this simply be a late reaction to mini tantrum/crying/being disciplined

said eyes jerky and playing with blocks was jerky

or could this be a sugar rush?

It's probably best to take him to the GP with this. Did he sleep afterwards.

I don't think the GP will. Just tell him what happened. It sounds a bit like a seizure so you do need to get this checked.

was he still shivery after crying/sobbing?
maybe check his temp/feel if hot.
Did your dh mean he was completely conscious,playing but moving in a jerky way?
If so I wouldn't think anything much,maybe emotional or a temp.

I'd make a note of it (time, what happened etc), keep an eye on him and go to gp if it happens again.

and it was def after a mini tan turm/crying

but you never know and hubby was a bit worried about it

i know cryig sometimes makes little one shake a bit but he had stopped few minutes beforehand

did he respond to your dh while playing?

apparently he was - but just spaced out

today am monitoring him

worried as hubby never comments on anything like this unless he is worried

seems ok but a bit low on concentration span and sleepiong loads

he did have a nasty bump on sunday falling head backwards onto road pavement

today just before napping now said it hurts pointing to back of head

I would have taken to Drs first thing yesterday morning.

A head injury followed by a "potential siezure" and then reduced concentrations span etc. He needs to be seen IMO
