My son is about to turn 7 and has not lost any milk teeth yet. Is this normal?

My dd will be 7 in August, one of her front teeth has just started wobbling, not sure how long it takes to fall out though.

I went straight to the dentist when my 5yo lost his 2 first milk teeth! The two he lost came through when he was 3 months old! Remember children dont read the books leave them too it they'll go when ready is what i was told by my dentist.

I think dd2 who has just turned 5 will lose milk teeth before dd1 who is 7 in september.
Dd1 has very short teeth though, they look very 'ground in' IYKWIM ? Have been in her room at night to see if I can hear them grinding, as my sister was told her daughters teeth didn't fall out for so long because she ground them at night, so was pushing them in.

Can't wait til she loses one though - she will be so thrilled and I can finally have some peace on the matter ! PLus, the whole tooth fairy is a lovely rites of passage thing isn't it ?

Wishi. It's different for every child. But to lose milks late is no bad thing. The second set will be harder and more resistant to cavities.

Hi my DS1 has just lost his first milk tooth. What's the going rate for the tooth fairy nowadays?

I think the later the better
those adult teeth have to last a long time
(I know a 40 year old still with a baby tooth)!
