No idea what will be next but I would rather they told us than not iyswim...

AitchTwoOh · 22/04/2009 22:40

but it's not the teething gel, is it?

anyhoo... have a look at calgel. contains saccharine. nice.

kitkatqueen · 22/04/2009 22:41

misleading thread name though, I was instantly worried about Bonjela teething gel and that isn't included in the under 16s ban its safe.

MrsMcCluskey · 23/04/2009 12:25

why misleading?
Not all of us have babies.
My DS's get ulcers and I have used bonjela on thema nd they are under 16.

The link specifies Bonjela ulcer treatments, by just saying Bonjela in the thread title people reading it will presume you are referring to all bonjela products. Its why the person writing the article has been so careful to be specific.

Its not just me, I just forwarded the link to some friends and they assumed it was a blanket ban on all Bonjela products too.
My friend just said it would be like saying "do not give paracetamol to under 16's" and then on a link saying give calpol instead.

I wasn't trying to be picky, but for a second there you had me worried.

After all - not all of us have children over 1 but they are still under 16 yrs.

Hmmm...feeling torn. It can feel like overprotection and whatever-is-next.

otoh, my dh developed Reyes syndrome after an ordinary dose of aspirin and believe me...you don't want to go there

he survived, but lots of people don't
