7 month old who doesn't wee very much. Should I be worried?

My ds2 is 7 1/2 months old and doesn't seem to wee very much. He is generally a very happy baby and doesn't show any other signs of dehydration so I don't know if I should be worried or if its ok.

His nappy 1st thing in the morning is pretty wet but as he's usually done a poo (which is quite soft and gooey) it's hard to tell. Then the rest of the day his nappy only gets changed a couple of times and each time it only looks like it has 1 or 2 wees in it.
He has been even worse the last few days as has been very congested and hasn't been drinking as much as usual. I'm sure the nappy he had on today from about 1pm till 7pm only had 1 wee in it.

I have been trying to get more fluids into him but he won't take any more milk (from breast or bottle) than he does- it's a struggle to get him to drink what he does sometimes. He has drinks of water with meals and I've been offering it to him in between meals but he won't take more than a few sips at a time.

Should I be worried about him or as long as he does soft poos and is happy do you think he's ok?

He is probably fine, other than not feeling well due to his congestion. Obviously continue to just keep an eye on things. Keep offering small amounts of fluids on a frequent basis.

Is he in cloth or disposable nappies? If disposable, try putting a paper towel in them for a few days. You will be better able to see if he has indeed wet, otherwise he may be needing to wet a couple of times before you can tell due to the absorbency of the nappy.

he's in disposables so I might try that.
Will keep an eye on him. He was screaming for an hour in the middle of the night last night but I think that was probably his teeth bothering him.
