OK, this thread is not for the squeamish and don't say i didn't warn you!
DS is 4 & has a loo phobia so still uses the potty for a poo
the other day I saw a white threadlike thing about 1cm long on top of the stools and it wriggled! (boak)
went to pharmacy and bought pripsen for the whole family, 1 tablet taken immediately, 1 for in 2 weeks time to get rid of any hatched since then.
does anyone know how long this stuff takes to work (as still seeing wriggling blighters in stools now) and also how you can tell if you get them again as no one has complained of itching bum, though DD age 9 sometimes complains of itchy front bits which we put down to not wiping well enough
