dd2 unwell, not eating - when to start worrying?

dd2 is poorly. she has been ill (vomiting) since sunday morning.

she is, understandably, off food. she has not eaten anything at all since Sunday afternoon (and then it was half a banana)

she has been doing ok-ish with fluids - seems to be able to tolerate them in the mornings, but not so well in the afternoons.

she ahs had a high temp, but that is a little better now, although prob still raised.

she is 2, and tiny (only just got above 10kgs), so when should I worry about her not eating? I know fluids are more important, but she will not even nibble a bit of toast/biscuit - has even turned down chocolate , and she really doesn't have any spare weight to lose...

aww, i wouldn't worry too much.,
ds1 is also a non-eater when poorly. in fact, today is the first day he has eaten anything really since thursday!!! (when he came down with sickness bug)

i do buy complan sometimes just to get some calories into him, but it's hit and miss whether or not he'll actually drink it.
he likes the strawberry flavour one though

hmm, dd1 also goes off her food if under the weather, but I can usually tempt her with something

I guess it's just second nature to worry about dd2's eating - she's been failure to thrive since she was 7 months old, and whatever we do, we cannot get her to gain weight...

there must come a point where it's not good to be not eating, surely? she is still being sick, and now has runny poos, I just don't want her ot get too weak.

humph. finger's crossed she fancies even a corner of toast tomorrow

does hot chocolate not tempt her? that's our fail-safe. dd1 goes off food 100% when ill, i don't really even bother offering. then one day she asks for pasta and red sauce and we're off again.

nope. she wants nothing at all.

tbh, have been struggling to get enough fluids into her today full stop - "no thankyou mummy" is all she says, whatever I offer.

even tried offering dd1's juice (sacred, as dd1 will only drink one type of juice (ASD) and dd2 usually tries anything to nick it) but nothing doing.
