Single measles jab side effects

Dd (22mo) had her measles jab a week last Saturday, so 10 days ago), and for the past few days, hasn't quite been herself. Only a very slight temp on Saturday night, and eating and drinking normally, but just a bit quiet and tired, and a little bit withdrawn. Not as boisterous as normal.

I am a terrible worrier though, has anyone else experienced similar with their dcs?

Couple of threads in archives about reactions that describe similar things.

Otherwise...

Don't they warn you about this when you have the jabs done?

I seem to remember being told a reaction was possible for up to 2 weeks after the MMR but I doubt the measles single vaccine is any different. (My cousin actually contracted measles from his vaccination although that was many years ago so the vaccine might have changed since then).

Mind you, given the number of viruses around at the moment, particularly temperature inducing ones, she might well have just picked up a bug.

If she is eating and drinking and generally OK I bet she will be back to normal in a day or two.

I think they tell you with the measles that you can expect common effects within 7-10 days. My DS had something around this time after his measles jab (can't remember quite what).

SOH - it's not that your work via text was all in vain, I just like to gather as many reassuring posts as possible!

My DS had the measles jab, and was pretty poorly about 10 days afterwards, he perked up after a few days. I think it's fairly common.

Great - well not great, but great that it seems to be common.

I am crap when she is ill.

Thanks all!
