Is my DD car sick?

She is 10 months old and twice this week we have taken her out in the car and she has been sick.

I was very car sick as a child and so am hoping against hope she isn't the same.

Some factors which may have some bearing:

Both trips were in her new car seat - one after a journey of only five minutes. She has since been in the seat and NOT been sick for a longer journey.

The first time it happened she had eaten about half an hour before. Today when it happened she had eaten over an hour before.

It was not particularly hot in the car.

Does anyone have any insights or experience they can share?

Could be to do with the position of the seat, she may ot have the same view as before. Or could even be she is not getting the air from the vents in the same way.

Could also have been the food I suppose, but harder to work out.

My DD was normally fine in the car but if I did any quick manouveres like reversing round a corner quickly or whatever she was sick a couple of times, usually after a reversing manouvere, her body just didn't seem to like it.

Oh just thinking she could also be fasinated byt eh new seat and not looking out of the windows as much, kjust a thought.

Thanks. It is forward facing rather than rear facing but I sort of imagined that she would have more to look at out of the window rather than a view of her own feet on the back seat.

The windows were open as well so should have been good air circulation. I guess it could be a coincidence - there has been sickness chez fizzpops recently so she may just be feeling generally under the weather. And 2 occasions is possibly too few to extrapolate into car sickness!
