Cows milk substitute for Toddler

Stopped breastfeeding DD at the beginning of year and noticed that her skin has been a bit dry - this has got worse in the past week or so, to the point that it irritates her.

DD's always had dairy but her intake of cows milk has upped since breastfeeding stopped and I'm wondering if this is causing her excema.
Thinking about changing milk to something non-diary but want DD to have lots of calcium - just wondering what's best, goat's or soya, or is there something else?

Try goats. You can buy the full fat variety, whereas soya doesn't have the fat content and isn't suitable for children under two because of this. The only downfall I found with goats milk is its strong flavour that my dd wasn't keen on.

thanks for the info. I'll try goats

If it's the protein in the cows' milk affecting her skin then goats' will probably do the same.

Try rice or oat milk instead (be sure to buy one with added calcium).
