DD keeps bringing her milk up, she hasn't got a temp or anything.

Buts when lay down and vomiting she chokes till i sit her up (only 8 weeks old)

Should she sleep on her side?

She is swaddled.

i had same prob with my dd and health visitor and cot death phone line were definate that she should sleep on her back - but i was so worried that she would choke and i would sleep through it that we went and bought a tommy tippee baby moniter with a mattress sensor, so i lay her on her side safe in the knowledge that if anything happened the alarm would go off.
see what she's like without being swaddled - even small movements can move wind around so if thats preventing her from movement it might be a factor. To keep her feeling secure you could roll a cellular blanket length ways and curl it under her bottom and around her sides (to recreate being held feeling) my friend swore by it.

I've never liked the idea of laying my baby on their back as my two DC were really mucusy from day one, plus my daughter had slight reflux too, and it happened on way too many occasions that she almost choke on her own milky vomit in her sleep. The same thing happened to many of my friends' babies, so everyone I know does the same. I really cannot understand this crazy fixation with laying your baby on their stomach. IMO, laying them on their side, but propping them carefully so they cannot roll onto their tummy is far better, not to mention safer!!

sorry, it's rather confusing what I wrote earlier, I actually meant to write "I really cannot understand this crazy fixation with laying your baby on their BACK."

First Years make a sleep positioner that you can adjust so that your baby stays on their side
