Can you feel the tooth bud if you run a clean finger along the gum? Teething can take ages.

Not tried, will do.

Do you think I should try bongela?

It;s certainly possible for your dd to be cutting teeth, although early. Both mine showed signs of teething from about wk 9 or 10 but the first tooth didn't actually make an appearance until about 14 weeks I think for ds, and much much later for dd.

There are powders - Ashton(sp?) & Parsons or Nelsons - from the chemist and supermarkets that are good for teething and tummy-upset that might be better than bonjela if there is no tooth/gum to rub it on. And somthing to chew on can be comforting, ds liked a plastic ring which could be put in the freezer, whilst dd was happiest with her fingers. Once they were weaning age then crusty bread was favourite.

Is she settled now or still not herself?

no temp, no rashes.

Went to nhs centre today and said wind or virus

My ds got his first tooth at under 4 months and was teething for a while before that so it is entirely possible.I found teething gel to be a bt rubbish tbh- it just dribbles out of his mouth. Tething granules are good, and when she gets a bit bigger and able to hold them herself Bickiepegs are also worth a try.
