Why what does yours look like ??

thisisyesterday · 12/02/2009 20:56

it varies. a lot. really, really a lot

DanJARMouse · 12/02/2009 20:57

varies.

Some days its like weetabix mush, could be pebble like, fairly mustardy or just normal poo.

All depends on what he has eaten.

kalo12 · 12/02/2009 21:03

its just that he had a lot of diarhea / green poo when he was younger and i cut out alot of foods due to various sensitivy symptoms, then his poo became more hard, like normal poo rather than baby milk poo since he started properly eating solids at 10 months but recently its been quite loose and I have also re introduced some foods into mine / his diet.

So basically I wanted to know if your well fed one year old does mainly hardish poos or are some still mush. By well fed I mean eating a fair amount not mainly milk, rather than eating health food btw.

DS is 14mnths and eats whatever we eat.

We have to avoid oranges and kiwi with him though as he has bad reactions inc upset tummy and red raw nappy rash.

it could just be teeth, teething causes upset tummys.

Afaik it varies a lot, if the child eats a reasonable amount of fruit/veg etc then it is likely to be fairly soft. e.g dd2 pooed about 5 times the other day after eating a lot of salady type foods.

I remember when my older dc and her friends were potty training (age 2-3 ish) lots of the parents were still saying that often the poo was still quite soft.
