Dr won't see him today.

Should I bother going to A&E, like the receptionists suggested or is it something that is likely to go away by itself?

could be a stye - get a pharmacist to take a look at it.

could jolly well be an infection.. and you ought to get this looked at as soon as you can. I suffer with this when I'm running low and stressed... the quicker you get it looked at ..the quicker the AB if you get some will work.. if it is an infection.

being a child your gp should have emergency appointments.. but if not and the receptionist has said to go to A+E .. then that's where I would pop along.. saying to them when you get there your surgery said you should go to A+E.

IMO it is more of a GP thing tbh.. but you don't want to leave it HTH

I really don't want to have to go all the way to a&e and sit in a queue for the rest of the day with 2 bored dss so I'll pop over to the chemist and see what the pharmacist reckons.

Our dr doesn't make exceptions for babies.I just get the stupid mantra from the receptionist no matter what I say 'There are no appointments today. There are no appointments today. There are..' Argh! It drives me mad!

Thanks
