rehydration - what amounts?

can anyone help me with the proportions of salt/ sugar in water for rehydration? Can't get dd to keep down plain water (but she 'glugged' it so I wasn't surprised).

The best thing actually is get your GP to prescribe some diarolyte or similar because it's not just sugar/salt but minerals too. And the meds are free for kids so nothing lost. Mine put some on prescription for DD over the phone and I just picked it up. Much easier and they are instant to make up.

I'd prefer not to take dd out while she's throwing up.

Anyone else help?

second the diarolyte, you can buy it in the pahrmacy too

have you tried ice lollies?

bumping for you anyway

Recipe here

She needs to take little amounts really often - so a spoonfull every 5 minutes is much better than a cup a half hour, and much more likely to stay down

thanks cmotdibbler, solution made up and ready for when she wakes up.
