DS has ENT operation booked for 22 January he hasn't been ill for nearly 2 months and now he suddenly is coming down with something has temp. In the letter from ENT it says to let them know if he is ill in the last 3 weeks should I let them know because he wil never have the operation for hes always ill. Should I just not let them know and hope he gets well

Hello again. Elibean, congrats on both of your IVF babies, you must be so chuffed and proud! Pasta would be ok, but its not very crunchy - unless uncooked?! so I'd try and stick with the crunchy route - maybe some garlic bread (oooh think of those nice jagged sides on a french stick) or some toast to go a little bit of pasta? Agree with verygreenlawn - whatever they want to eat, let them! Funny how things change, isn't it - when I had mine out 30 odd years ago, I had the ice cream route, in hospital for about 5 days and they offered me my tonsils in a jar to take home! I still remember it - YUCK!

garlic bread, and pizza, excellent ideas

I asked about pasta because dd is very underweight (prob due to tonsils) as it is, so will need calories as soon as possible. I won't feed exclusively, promise Yes, whatever she'll take, I imagine is how it ends up.

Tonsils in jar....yuck...though I would have liked that when I was about 7!!

Crisps as well!

I know re: tonsils!! The little pot thing was full of all this yellowy gunk - aaaargh!

Good luck for tomorrow, Elibean - let us know how it goes...!

Keep us posted, Mumsobusy!

She has dreadful sleep apnoea tonight, probably starting a sore throat/cold (again). No temp though, so should be ok.
