dd still prone to being sick

dd is now 7 and had reflux as a baby. She didn't tolerate lumpy foods until a year and even then was liable to cough and be sick easily if she swallowed hard or has a cough and also has been occasionally travel sick.

Her latest episode involved an M and S sandwich yesterday (sorry to anyone who was in the cafe at Bluewater at the time !). She was hungry and thirsty but nibbling at it, then took a large bite and chewed when cajoled. She is perfectly well, apart from losing her front teeth and recovering from a cough. I have been worried it may be an attention thing and at times deliberate, but she insists not. Am at a loss now tbh, we generally just ignore and clean up, so don't make an issue of it, but wonder if there is more to it.

My DD would still make herself vomit at this age if made to eat mashed pot/spag bol or shepherds pie - it used to make me quite irritated! It caused a falling out between one of my friends and I who thought I'd taken her to play whilst ill (spag bol induced vomit)!

She would also gag when being asked to eat something new or that she wasn't so keen on.

She (must have) a very weak diaphram also as used to regularly vomit with an ordiary cough, hopefully has outgrown this now she is 9.

I have no real advise only empathy.

thanks , at least we're not alone ! It can be awkward socially though. It has never happened at school afaik but she has been sick twice after parties (in our car fortunately).

My DD had reflux and is also still like this! She has a condition that makes vomiting very serious so its difficult to know sometimes whats caused it and work out what to do. She is often sick at parties and throws up if she gets a hair in her mouth or has something she doesn't like. Also catches every sick bug going.
