Ah yes you have been having those woefull cries of "med meds mummy. I need med meds" because a sibling is sick or they are just feeling sorry for themselves?

giddykipper · 16/12/2008 09:33

Yep, feeling sorry for himself.

I agree! Just one glance of the "magic pink juice" and DS1 already feels better!

I make up rosehip syrup myself and keep that in the fridge. Full of vitamin C and a great placebo. Also strangely useful for sore throats and delicious in yoghurt!!

I wish! All three of my children act like I'm trying to murder them at the slightest hint of medicine of any sort. The eldest will tolerate Nurofen (known as "the nice stuff" here).

I am the syringe-meister.

What I want is Calpolate Mousse. Chocolate flavoured, dose of paracetamol in every pot ...

Beachcomber · 16/12/2008 13:54

Now that I might buy.

Have never bought the regular stuff myself as it is the work of the devil IMO.

Oh no mine will cry for medicine at the slightest sniff. And when dd2 is ill thats it, dd1 requires more than medicine. She needs a and e. Or at the very least assuring her that yes, she is more ill than dd2
