maybe try just plain olive oil or vaseline. This is what I used to get rid of my dc's cradlecap.

I dont want to matt her hair though as she hates having her head touched and wont let me tye her hair up.I am only permitted to put a clip in.
Hmm what to do?
Would her hair get matted do you think?

I used coconut oil on DD (2)'s head - she can't stand having her hair touched either, but we cottoned onto the fact that she didn't mind us spraying it with a leave in conditioner bottle, so I melted some, sprayed it on, left it during her bath and then persuaded her that her head was gunky and she let me gently shampoo it off.

We left it on for an hour though while she splashed in the bath.

Doc gave me some medicated shampoo, but has made no difference. Get lots of pleasure from picking it out though.

A chemist - boots/superdrug/sainsburys pharmacy are my usual sources. It costs about a quid for enough for about five years!!!! You only need a little bit and it melts at body heat so there is no risk of scalding. The spray bottle can be dumped in the bath to melt and then used. Works a treat and smells yummy! I use it on my hair now and again instead of a hot oil treatment and it makes it all silky and non-frizzy!

Thanks will give it a try
