ds (11) has been off school with what seemed like a nasty cold which he started coming down with on Saturday - this afternoon he started saying he was feeling sick and he's just thrown up all over downstairs loo (nearly got there in time )

has he got two separate bugs or is there something which starts like a cold and then mutates - and if so, how long until he's back to normal?

supposed to be working on Friday ....

lol - I'd cover the floor with tarpaulin - put them down on that then hide til they are finished and hose the whole lot down.
Actually thats a bit grim!

I only had dd so she went on the sofa with towels everywhere and I lay on the floor well out of reach in my sleeping bag. I could have chucked dh out of our bed and us two have that but I didnt want to risk dd chucking on our bed or me.

Much trickier with two of them! dd was only really sicky for 12 hours so hopefully your ds will be done by then.

I don't know if the teddies are washable but they went in the washing machine anyway. I wished them good luck as they went in. It was a pitiful sight seeing them all go round and round! They are currently drying in the airing cupboard.
