i would definitely be taking advice from nhs direct if it were me. there must be particular circumstances regarding your dd's bronchilitis so i wouldnt want to advise you. am sure given she has had something today which is sort of liquidy it will keep her going for a little bit but i would take advice. have you tried just little bits of cool boiled water off a tea spoon or calpol syringe directly into her mouth? jsut literally a drop by drop approach?

Try giving her little bits often. A baby this age should not have a dry nappy for longer than 12 hours as they dehydrate very quickly. Check her fontenelle (sp?) on the top of her head. This should not be sunken. Her mouth and lips should be wet and her eyes not sunken. If she has any sign of this then phone the ward. Be aware that bronciliolitis can come back a few weeks after. Try her with a cup or a beaker if she won't take a bottle.

try little by little as suggested - could you try a cup and see if the novelty distracts her?
dd2 was hospitalised and ng fed due to same thing when she was tiny. hope you get something into her soon x
