Shaky Hands

My nine year old son has had shaky hands on occasion for a couple of years. I didn't think too much of it until the teacher said she noticed it and she thinks it's effecting his hand writing. This is definitely not an anxiety issue for him, think I will take him to doctor just to check all is ok. Any other mums had kids with this problem??

I have had shakey hands from childhood. Some days it is better than others.

Yes my hand writting did suffer, but I can type

The doctors have yet to find a reason, so many pints of blood and more needles than a pin cushion later I have given up trying to find a cause.

The shakes can be a side effect of ventolin (salbutamol). Especially in high doses, but I think some can be more sensitive to it (i.e. get affected at lower doses).

scaryfucker · 21/10/2008 22:12

autumnwardrobeonthecheap · 21/10/2008 22:23

also can get it from lack of vitamin B

pandoora · 22/10/2008 11:21
