oh dear. Ibuprofen and paracetamol at different times, cool down with a fan. Call NHS direct and get the little one seen by the out of hours to find the cause.

It is higher than normal but not a huge amount. I wouldn't be too worried unless the child had previously had febrile convulsions but at 2yrs if he or she hasn't had one before they are unlikely to start now.

Agree with alternating the paracetamol and the ibuprofen and stripping off as much as possible.

I would get the child seen by the out of hours for this, it's important to find out the reason behind the temp.

have just been around and-although i'm absolutely no expert-she seems fine now. She's sleeping but the heat isn't "coming off"her if you know what I mean? This is the toddler who "never sleeps" at night who - i think - might be starting her new routine now that she's in nursery all week.Think she's going to be okay but her Dad's home now so i've told them we're here if they need us but think they're ok now.Neighbour had pnd like I did and I think it's horrible when you're on your own worrying. Thanks everyone for your advice.
