Immunisation reaction seems to be getting worse?

My child who has a nut allergy had a couple of immunisations on Wednesday. Today there is a large red mark on one arm - which is growing. It is about 10cm across, so covering one side of their arm. Now a red mark has now appeared on the other, about 10p coin size. They feel fine but I gave a 5ml dose of antihistamine and that hasn't done a thing.

Slightly concerned about this. We do have epipens hence not dashing into anything.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Phone NHS-direct, I doubt it's anything, but they should know.

How's it going?

seems to be less red today so I'm hoping its going down. Still covering quite a large area of their arm.

This maeans I'll have to look harder at what's in other vaccines!

as you probably know every time you come into contact with the allergen you have a worse reaction.

I am allergic to many things and have tried and tested this and certainly is true!!!

perhaps prior to or immediatly after give them a dose of antihistamine.
