Baby not eating - HELP!

DD is almost six months, today is her second day at nursery and she has eaten nothing, until 4pm when she had about 2oz of milk -she usually has 35oz of milk per day.

She isn't properly weaned but has finger food and she has shown no interest in it at all. She is fairly small for her age and I am concerned as she doesn't exactly have weight to lose.

Last bottle was at 10pm last night, I had to wake her at 8am and then she has slept for six hours throughout the day and is asleep again now. This isn't normal for her. She also seems a bit listless.

I am waiting for an NHS Direct and in the meantime thought I would seek out the MN wisdom on it.

p.s - can you maybe tell me I'm stupid for thinking it's her trying to tell me she hates me working?

It sound more as though she may be feeling poorly rather than it being a settling into nursery thing. Could you take her to the out of hours surgery for a quick check over?

Yes, it sounds like she's feeling out of sorts. Any potential teething? You might get a violent vomit and then you'll know what was up (that's usually what happened with my baby DS1). I'd get a call from nursery as he was "out of sorts". I'd get him home where he'd promptly vomit in my bra!
Hope NHS Direct can help, and DO call an out of hours doctor if you're unsure.

I might just wait n see how she is in the morning and get an early doctors appointment. She's had a cold too and I'm just really worrying about it.
