Woken up itchy

My daughter has woken up itchy all over. Shes been on cocodamol for a few days could this cause her to be itchy all a sudden? Her feet are also ice cold I’ve just put in her fluffy socks. There’s a few spots here and there her chest and tummy are also a bit mottled and blotchy.

I’ve changed her sheets and new PJs but nothing is new. I can’t sleep now and Google has scared me

I would take her to a&e with this - could be a severe allergic reaction

I did call 111 they said a nurse would call us within 2 hours. I guess it’s a side effect just strange she’s been taking them for 5 days why last night has it started to show

It's not strange at all, it's completely routine for a reaction to emerge after days, weeks or months.

You just have to respond to what you see.

Oh is it? I thought the side effects would come straight away. They give her a prescription for anti histamine so hopefully that will help soon. She’s exhausted from it all
