NHS laser treatment for spider angiomas on a child's face?

Has anyone ever had laser treatment for spider angiomas on a child's face through the NHS?

DS7 has two prominent ones on his face - we've taken him to the GP and they've confirmed thats what they are. Our plan was to find a place and pay privately to have them lasered as we'd heard the NHS won't usually do this. However we've now had a referral for plastics on the NHS to 'consider laser treatment'. Are they likely to just tell us to wait it out?

Only asking as we have already booked the private appt and it comes way before the NHS one.

Do they not tend to go away naturally in children? I had one on my cheek underneath my eye when I was about 8, I'm sure it just went away in its own time. It certainly wasn't on any photos from age 10.

I had one removed as a child. It came back. Just something to be aware of - who has instigated the removal? If it’s your child then fair enough but I feel quite angry about my Mums attitude about it now as an adult. I couldn’t have cared less about it until she made it a thing and that - rather than the issue itself - made me terribly self conscious about it. I think she shouldn’t have said / done anything about it.
