Cream to treat itchy private parts

My DD 4 has had a sore/itchy front bum a few times, and we found some common triggers for example bubble baths, wearing tights. Today she got a really sandy bum at the beach and it's irritated her there.

What cream is best to treat this? I remember this happening when I was a kid and my mum used thrush cream but I don't know if the advice is still the same 30 years on. Sudocrem doesnt seem to offer any relief.

I’d try bepanthen which is an effective barrier cream. I find sudocrem can sting already irritated skin and makes it worse.

Thank you.

I should add this only happens at night as well while she's half asleep, groggy, and angry so I need quick solutions to get her back to sleep. We're on holiday at the moment so I washed her in the sink and that seems to have helped.

Treat for threadworms
Vaseline on overnight or nappy barrier cream like weleda or bepanthen

It's only her vulva no where else.

I probably would treat any way just in case, the itchiness at night could be!
Cotton pj's and knickers only and maybe going a size up in knickers for bedtime.
If the itching is really uncomfortable I would try an antihistamine before bed too whilst the creams heal her skin.
If persists with eg weleda calendula cream then see gp x

Try sudacream that helps my kids when they say they are sore and itchy.
