Just initial thoughts so I can start to prepare if so, anyone who experienced chickenpox does this look like it could be the start on my 9yo?
She woke up with these spots on her nose today, and one little blemish on her cheek but doesnt look like these. The reason I'm querying more is because she went to a friends at weekend at they did a "face mask" and she's always had quite sensitive skin. She says it was itchy before she did that but I'm not convinced of that timeline...
Time will tell anyway but I also have a baby who goes to nursery so just want to start planning possible time off work etc going by first impressions, if it looks like we're gonna be in for a few days!

If it turns out you have dodged chickenpox, I would really think about getting the vaccine privately for your eldest - symptoms tend to be worse the older the child is when they catch it (especially if they catch it once they are a young adult). One of my students is having to repeat a year of university because they caught chickenpox at Christmas and they have missed SO much & felt really poorly. You don't want something like that hitting during GCSEs either.

Yep I've heard this so if I can get her to have it (not sure she will go ahead when she's sees the needle) we will try to arrange!
She's been surrounded by it so many times over the years since nursery and never caught it. So well see

Really hard to tell from just two - could even be the beginning of acne. You'll know within 24h because they'll blister

Anything on her stomach or back? That's more of a usual starting place.

Yeah I asked her if noticed anymore or feeling itchy anywhere and she said no. I think I'll get an idea of any developments when I pick her up later as I know it's usually a fairly quick onset.
Typically she only told me about them as we were about to leave the house, they were so small I hadn't even noticed
