After sun that doesn't sying

Hello

My sun has very fair skin and has a slight ginger pigment.

Whilst they have never burnt (use lots of sunscream/high factor/regular top ups and breaks from the sun). On occasion when applying after sun (always put this on on holiday to moisturise the skin -they suffer dry skin and sun cream can dry their skin sometimes they complain that after sun stings.

We are going away to a family wedding this year and whilst I do limit hours in sun to reduce the amount of sun cream/sun exposure it will be harder this year as we will be with family and have less chance to take ourselves out of sun.

So does anyone have any recommendations for an after sun that doesn't sting?

Thanks

I’d just use aqueous cream, and buy some UV cover up clothing to minimise their exposed skin to feet, hands and face. I buy from Solbari or Coolibar as I need a lot of sun protection and they are really practical

Aloe Vera is better than after sun cream.

LaRochePosay do an after sun that we have found really good. Their lines are developed by dermatologists and some of their other products are specifically for sensitive or dry skin. Gets me through sub zero winters

I would look for an appropriate moisturiser and not worry about it being after sun.

We use a mix of epaderm, aqueous cream and hydromol on my daughters dry skin. Be careful with aqueous cream as it does contain sls which can irritate some skin.
