Bruise on 3 year old face

Hi all,

my 3 years old keeps randomly getting a bruise on her cheeks I would say in the last month she has has 1 one on each side and one near her ear. Now googling comes up with all sorts. I know my 3 years old and 5 year old quibble a lot over stuff and play fight a lot. But I would have thought play fighting would have been more like bruises from hitting things on their Arms or falling and hurting their leg. She is otherwise well in herself. I will speak to the dr too I’m getting myself in all sorts thinking she has all sorts. Anyone with experience of this.
thank you

Is it just on her face? It could be something benign of course but you're doing the right thing taking her to a GP. As she's fine in herself I wouldn't worry too much. My niece was diagnosed with leukemia through random bruising but she was very unwell at the time as well, so although Google will no doubt mention this I would try not to dwell on the more serious as other symptoms are usually apparent.

Hi, yes it’s just on her face on her cheeks mainly. They clear up in a few days. Google did give some bad scenarios I really need to stop googling.

Honestly, no good ever came out of googling symptoms, it's always some ultra rare worst case scenario. I do think a visit to the GP is warranted though as she does have some unexplained bruising. Is there a chance she could be doing this to herself? Hitting or pinching herself maybe? Or maybe the 5 year old is hitting when they're out of sight?
