So long story short-
my husband and i have been suffering with bronchitis for the last week.. we want to start giving our fussy eater 2 year old son multivitamins in hopes he doesn't get this from us 🤞

I really am health conscious , into herbal medicine and a first time mama..
Ive been thinking about ordering Mary Ruths toddler drops/gummy's..

Are they any good? Other recommendations? (Im in the UK)

A 2 year old shouldn't need extra vitamins if he has a good diet.

It's too late to prevent transmission to your child if you've been sick 1 week already. You probably have flu or covid. These are airborne.

If you are infected you are breathing out infectious particles, no vitamins are going to stop your child breathing them in but you can lower the viral dose around your child.

You need to practice good airborne mitigations: ventilation with open windows to flush out infectious viral aerosols exhaled by you, and keep the sick people isolated, or wear a tightly sealed FFP2 mask as source control (since obviously someone has to look after the child).

I believe the recommendation is for everyone in the UK to at least take vitamin D during the winter months as a minimum.

We give our 2 year old the multivitamin liquids you find in supermarket or amazon. Our kids have always had multivitamins.

Actually nhs recommends all children under 5 take a supplement of a,c and d.
Of course many children are fussy and a vitamin would help
