Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? My son has had this since being a couple months old and I was told by a doctor it’s nothing to worry about but he’s had 3 allergic reactions to 1. Egg (rash everywhere) 2.Yorkshire pudding 3. Fresh strawberries (rash everywhere) but last night after trying a Yorkshire pudding he got a rash around it but only in that place, I gave piriton and it went away. Doctors have told me they’re contacting dermatology but I’d just like to know if anyone else has seen anything like this before.

yorkshire pudding contains egg so the same reaction? Just avoid all egg, ask for a referral to the allergy clinic for testing. You can probably do the egg ladder if the only reaction is a rash

Egg is a key ingredient in Yorkshire pudding isn’t it? If your son had an allergic reaction to egg then best to avoid any egg products until you are seen by the allergy clinic.

he had an allergic reaction to egg months ago and I got told by doctors to try again and so I did and it obviously happened again but only in one spot different from the last time

An allergic reaction in the form of hives won’t appear in the same spot as every time.

If the reaction is less severe than the last time, then that’s a good sign. Have a look at the egg ladder and that will tell you how to introduce egg into your son’s diet.

Thank you

Looks exactly like how my son reacts to eggs.
He tested positive to eggs (& several other foods) with both blood and skin prick allergy tests.
Often it comes up in different places, not always the same.
He doesn't eat eggs at all yet (he's 2), but we are doing milk ladder initial steps (to single milk biscuit).
