Sudden bed wetting in 4 year old

Hello!
Just wondering if anyone else is going through the same?
DS is 4 next month, has been dry for around a year. But the last week hes been wetting the bed every night and i cant figure out why.
Ive taken him for a urine check and his blood sugars which are all normal (some may have seen my post) he is on waiting list for ENT for abnormally large tonsils that make him snore very loudly and sleep apnea.
Just dont know what else could be causing him to do it all of a sudden, ive asked him of anything bothers him etc but he just makes up random stories 😆😆😆 any adbice appriciated!

What kind of random stories is he making up? Are there any similarities in the stories that may reveal an underlying truth to what is bothering him? Is he starting school soon and nervous maybe?

Just random ones 'i wet the bed cause the cat keeps going up and down the stairs' or 'cause the alarm was going off' nothing that really makes any sense, he doesnt like loud noises and there was an alarm kept going off a few weeks ago in one of the near by houses bit wasnt particularly loud just a faint noise.
He is going back to pre school next week but hes been going since janurary and he loves it, there will be some new faces there i guess after some of his friends move up to reception (they all turn 5 from september he turns 4).

Worms? A dose of worming medication might help.

My ds got lazy with night time trips to the loo at around 4. He had peed on a book we had to throw out so that made him realise it was a bit gross. He said he was scared of the dark going to the loo. I think he was being lazy but we got a new plug in night light and that seemed to stop it. We have had issues with dairy reintroduction and accidents too.

Yes, i did think this but hes having no other symptoms! He has had them before but he was in nappies the last time he had it so was pretty easy to see 😆 ive been trying to have a look when he goes to the toilet if i can see any but i havent as yet!

Definitely give him a dose of wormer, it’s unlikely you would see threadworms in the toilet and lots of children don’t have symptoms during the day.

@Username0110 Just give him a dose of wormer. It’s cheap and easy. I had to dose my DD every three months or so from about 4yo to 12yo. Children are gross and so many don’t wash their hands properly or wipe their bum properly so worms spread so easily.
