Adaptive baby clothes for time in hospital with tubes

My dd is currently in hospital with lots of wires and tubes in her arms. The nurse suggested trying to find some sleepsuits that Velcro or fasten up the arm - due to her tubes and being connected to machines she won’t otherwise be able to have her arms in clothes.

does anyone know anywhere that sells these types of clothes- or even what they are called to search for myself.

im looking for size 0-1 month or 0-3 months .. if I can find ones which will grow a bit as she does that would be amazing but don’t know if such a thing exists.

Any help much appreciated - with a poorly baby I’d at least like them to be comfy and warm.

Hi OP - I remember finding some in ASDA somewhat surprisingly (though that was almost ten years ago) that had poppers all down the arms and legs as well as the bum region. If you like it opened in half and you could just pop them together as you needed.
For a while M&S did adaptive clothing with Velcro.
im afraid I don’t know if either still exist (the range of clot) but I’d bet ASDA still have those popper types..
Maybe Amazon?

We had venflon in hands and feet so these were helpful.

Asda are good for adaptive clothing options.

John Lewis also sell adaptive stuff online from Little Green Radicals.

I found M&S had lots of very good though we needed it for use with special feeding tubes rather than for arm tubes.

We used to get our adaptive clothing from: Fledglings.org.uk I don’t know whether they do tiny baby clothes though but customer service is excellent so worth a try.

I wish you and your little one good luck.

Pyjama fairys website do pyjamas and gowns for children in hospital. They come with ties that fasten at the front as standard and the gowns have poppers along the shoulders/sleeves but you can ask for adaptations to be made like openings for tubes etc. My son has had a lot of operations on his mouth and they have been brilliant for after surgery when he needed pyjamas that don't go over his face.
