Reflux/CMPA advice?

I’m just looking to see if there’s anyone else that’s had/has a baby similar to mine!
I have an almost 9 week old LG. She’s combi fed, I breast feed throughout the day and then she’s on formula over night (usually 4 bottles) of HIPP. Since around 2 weeks she’s really struggled with trapped gas, vomiting and silent reflux and constipation. We tried gaviscon but that didn’t work and she’s now on omeprazole and lactulose. Vomiting has definitely decreased in volume but she still really struggles to poo (was the case before the omeprazole). She struggles to sleep, has to be on someone and it can take hours for her to sleep as the stomach pains wake her up constantly. She screeches, squirms and grunts constantly unless she is asleep. She’s just not a happy baby and I’m struggling to know how to help her. She seems in pain 24/7. Breastfeeding is becoming more and more difficult, going on for hours as she’s so fussy and on and off. I have spoken to health visitor and because she doesn’t have a rash she doesn’t think it allergy based and is just normal. But surely for her to be so uncomfortable she won’t sleep, takes ages to feed and wakes herself up from sleeping isn’t normal? Just wondering if anyone has/had a baby similar and did is ease around the 3/4 month mark or was it an allergy?

Full breastfed baby, but was mainly resolved by going dairy free.

One of the more common causes for unexplained constipation in babies is dairy allergy.

Fussing on and off the breast was one of my daughters allergy symptoms and once we had a handle on my diet this was the first sign that I had eaten something she reacted too. She also didn't have a rash and at the point of diagnosis only had screaming as a symptom! She has over 20 food allergies! I think it's definitely worth trialling going diary free and looking at a dairy free formula. If they are reacting to milk proteins in breastmilk they are more likely to be in the sensitive camp so would benefit from an amino acid formula like alfamino or neocate but you will probably be asked to try an extensively hydrolysed formulas first which is still dairy based.

Noticeable improvement in a few days.

Improvement continued over a few weeks.

Evidence of a screw up evident is under 12 hours.
