Rash on toddler - opinions greatly appreciated as very worried

Toddler 2.5 has had a rash for coming up to 3 weeks. I have been to the doctors twice and pharmacy and of course conflicting advice. I will be going back to the doctors tomorrow and pushing for a referral and further tests but I would like to see if any mums have had anything similar.
the rash started nearly 3 weeks ago. Started on his right thigh very bumpy and rough and wa son one side only. Now it’s on both forearms both thighs and stomach. Stayed the same for a week and a half or so now and maybe redder. Itches him but not a crazy amount, more so in the mornings but seem him scratch time to time throughout the day

is fine In himself, only thing noted was was very snooty the week before it appeared but certainly not unwell enough to warrant a GP visit. I work for nhs and just feel you get constantly fobbed off with “viral”

pharmacist has scared the shit out of me now saying I should push for bloods as it couldn’t possibly be allergic or viral as it would y have stayed for a few weeks and would have come and gone. Any experiences would be very much appreciated. I will attach pics

No pics yet but has HF&M been ruled out? What about molluscum contagiosum? My boy was riddled with them at around 3 years old

For the most part blood tests don't give very useful information about rashes. GPs are pretty good at pattern recognition for important things - sometimes the pattern is "er, not sure but no hallmarks of something worrying, give it longer to settle". Sometimes what's confusing to one GP is obvious to another. 3 weeks on the whole isn't that long.

What blood tests do you (or the pharmacist) think should be carried out?

That looks to me like an allergy to washing powder.

Scarlet fever? But that rash lasts about a week.

It does look quite dermatitis-y. My daughter has perioral dermatitis and it’s very, very similar to that - it’s a contact reaction to certain fruits, for her. Is there anything that you use that could have changed ingredients? Or anything at his nursery? Is his clothing rubbing on him on those areas?

My Dd has several food allergies that cause an eczema type reaction, which can look like this when irritated from scratching or the heat.
her allergies are egg , wheat and dairy. It’s the dairy which causes the rash for her.

Could it be fifth disease? "Slapped cheek"? My DD had it but never had the bright red cheeks.

Thanks everyone for your opinions and experiences. The doctor I saw today thinks it’s a heat rash. I’m struggling to believe a heat rash stays for 3 weeks and doesn’t come and go….. his tonsils are red but not with pus and they are always enlarged anyway.
