Toddler constipation

My two year old has been taking one sachet a day of Movicol for constipation for the past couple of weeks, it’s been really effective but we only have five sachets left and would ideally like to treat the constipation without medication in future. Does anyone have any great constipation diet advice? I’m thinking it’s milk related as she drinks so much of it at the moment, any alternatives you would recommend? She eats a good amount of fruit and veg and I’m doing my best to up water intake.

My eldest daughters constipation stopped after having any sort of cow dairy so not just milk but cheese and yogurts. Goats milk is a good alternative. I’d be mindful of just stopping movicol though a couple of weeks really isn’t a long time for her body to repair itself. We found sennakot helped better than movicol.

Thank you, I have cut out Greek yoghurt which was a regular staple. I don’t have much idea about movicol (we got it from the pharmacy- we live in Europe so maybe different regulations).
She has always opened her bowels daily but just used to scream and then have many small hard poos now with the movicol she is much more comfortable and passing larger stools.
