Citerizine - it doesn’t make them drowsy like piriton and works better - cheap tablets are available but you can buy the liquid from boots for £3 ish is you ask at the counter

Oloptadine eye drops
also put Vaseline in corner of eyes and nostrils this creates a barrier

Citerizine and a hayfever nasal spray like beconase (watch a tutorial on how to use a nasal spray, lots of people do it wrong then say they can't cope with them)

Remmy123 · 15/06/2025 13:04

Thanks and do you give it to them everyday?

He can take fexofenadine at that age. You can get it now in Boots (used to be prescription only). It’s an antihistamine and shouldn’t make him drowsy. Opticrom eyedrops.

Fexofenodine in higher dosage is prescribed by the doctor. My daughter gets a monthly subscription. She also uses boots saline nasal spray and eye drops. We have an air purifier in her room as well and she is still pretty miserable with it at the moment.

Oloptadine was prescribed by his GP went through so many eye drops and syrups but nothing worked ,
he struggles with red sore puffy eyes and a bad blocked nose
he has 1 drop of Oloptadine twice a day balm barrier corner of eyes and round nostrils and I give piriton or pritize , he’s fine at the moment
