8 year old girl, intermittent toileting pain

My 8 year old daughter has been struggling with intermittent pain for nearly 4 weeks now. It always presents as pain in either her bottom or genitals, and is often (but not always) triggered by going to the toilet. She isn’t constipated. She has been treated twice during this period for a UTI on the basis of symptoms, but it hasn’t made a difference. She is describing stinging ‘inside’ her bits, pain in her bottom and also stomach cramps at times, and these symptoms seem to rotate, making it really tricky to figure out what could be causing it.
I am going to take her back to the doctors, but just wondered if anyone recognised this set of symptoms? She is really nervous to be examined by a doctor, which isn’t helping.
It’s also been tricky to separate out the symptoms from anxiety, as she has been particularly troubled by the symptoms on school mornings, but they are still the same now that she has broken up for half term!
(The symptoms don’t get worse at night, and itching has never been a feature, so I haven’t really considered worms as a possible cause, although maybe I’ve been to hasty in ruling it out?)

Thanks all 😟
