Obviously had to happen over the holiday weekend🤦‍♀️what started out as a small discoloured flat spot has got bigger over the last few days and I’m just wondering if anyone can identify it- my dd8 is on steroids for an autoimmune condition so I need to be more cautious about infections so am hoping you might be able to help me work out if it’s a patch of dry skin or something else - it’s not itchy but it hurts when she touches it. Thank you 🙏

Could be fungal or eczema related
Could you try a pharmacy and see what they say?

It could also be ringworm and that is treated using an antifungal medication.

Kids pick up any infection through sharing things in school.

I’d take her to the chemist. It does look ringwormish but they would be best placed to assess & I think can prescribe treatment if necessary too now.

Have to agree that does look like ringworm. Had it myself once and looks the same.

It definitely looks like ringworm and the fact that your daughter is on steroids could encourage it to grow.
