Title pretty much says it all

My 3 year old boy has had extreme sweating for a week . I'm talking soaking pillows and bed sheets .
He woke today with strange bruising
Didn't have it night before ( I can't remember nothing early this morning ( he had pjs on )
However upon changing him into day clothing noticed strange bruising appearing on both his arms

My child is autistic non verbal so could be that he has done to himself ( he tends to hurt himself in anger and frustration )
However to me seems strange the type of bruising

I've booked a GP appointment however they have said they don't seem this urgent so not being seen until next Friday

Has anyone's child had similar ?

Images attached to show bruising and extent of sweating

Very sensible and good luck. Remember that the fear of seeming 'silly' is a natural social instinct that's powerful but wrong in this case - better to seem silly a thousand times over than to regret not pushing for investigation. Especially as your DC may not be able to verbalise to you if he feels different. I'm glad he has you. Even if it ends up being nothing (I hope it does and that he's ok) you've done the right thing.

I hope it turns out to be nothing and your wait is not too long. You're doing the right thing x
