So when my son have football etc. he comes home late and have dinner late 7pm and sleeps 8pm.
He is 6 years old and whenever this happens he wake up an hour later and feels something coming up his mouth and he keeps swallowing it.

He is usually fine in himself and this never happens during any other time and only when eating late. Should I be worried ? Not sure if I should book gp appointment about it and what to do.

Yep sounds like reflux. I get this can't eat close to bed time for that very reason. Is there any way he could eat a bit earlier or go to bed a bit later?

But he never get any other symptoms so is it still considered reflux ? And again happened only in two occasions?
do you get other symptoms?

Also when he eaten earlier and than have a snack before bed time, it never happens so not sure if it’s true reflux !?

A full dinner and a snack are two very different things in terms of quantity.

Babies have acid reflux. That’s what colic is.

He’s eating too close to bed.

My 6 year old also has this. GP wanted to rule out coeliac as a cause, as supposedly this is the age when it can start showing symptoms. If she doesn't have coeliac they will give anti acids.

How often it happened to your child ? And was celiac positive in your child case?

My 4 yo has reflux diagnosed as GERD she's had it from birth but since being standing it only impacts her at night.
I'd say it's reflux triggered by eating late and then lying down - akin to indigestion.
There's a difference between reflux and GERD. Occasionally getting a bit of reflux due to eating at less than ideal time or over eating is not the same as having something systemically wrong that causes reflux frequently which might need treatment.
Keep an eye on it, if it became frequent it might be worth a chat with the GP and in the meantime time try to avoid big meals before lying down.
