Fussiness at 5 months

Hi everyone I’ve never really done a post like this but I don’t know what to do anymore😔

I have a lg who will be 5 months old in 4 days, she is extremely fussy throughout the days. She suffered with colic from 3 weeks and I do feel as though the colic has gone now. But she is so cranky all day every day, I always make sure she has been fed and is full, change her bum. She is a very nosey baby and will refuse to sleep most days, especially if I go out the house she will not sleep at all😩

She has been teething which I’ve been keeping on top of calpol, teething gels and teething toys for her.

She is only really satisfied with toys or playing for a short amount of time and then will become cranky.

I feel mentally and physically drained and don’t know how much more I can take of this, I wish there was an answer for when she will be a completely happy baby and no fussiness, I understand all babies cry but this is on another level😔

Have you tried solids? I think it's supposed to help colicky babies (once they are able to eat solids). It used to be 4 months to start on them but now it's recommended to wait until 6 months. There are threads on here regularly where babies get more fussy & start waking up around 4-5 months. I imagine they're just getting hungry??

There used to be a great pain relief called Medised but it got banned when mine were little. It was really effective for teething. I think some people were overdosing & using it every night. Have you tried alternating calpol with baby ibuprofen??
